dhtindex.org is a decentralized search engine powered by Mainline DHT crawlers. The Mainline DHT (Distributed Hash Table) is the global network used by BitTorrent clients to find peers without a central tracker.

How it Works

Our crawlers continuously participate in this network, discovering new torrent infohashes and metadata directly from other nodes. This allows us to build a real-time, resilient index of content without relying on traditional centralized torrent sites.

Decentralized and Resilient

Because we source data directly from the DHT, our index is not dependent on any single point of failure. As long as the BitTorrent network exists, our crawlers will continue to find and index content autonomously.
